BTS' Jungkook continues to make achievements with the album GOLDEN. Released last week on November 3, 2023, this album has successfully made history on the Hanteo music site. Not only on the first day of album sales, this time Jungkook was named the only best-selling K-Pop soloist in the first week of sales.

The GOLDEN album on Hanteo records sold 2,438,483 copies during November 3-9, 2023. This record was previously held by V BTS. Now apparently V has to hand over the rotating trophy to his fellow BTS members. Jungkook's GOLDEN album sales figures also stand out among other K-Pop groups.

Names such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, and NCT Dream were previously the groups with the highest sales in the first week. Now Jungkook has joined as the 'fifth member' of the best-selling musicians on Hanteo. Jungkook also set a record on Spotify through the album GOLDEN.

According to Spotify records, on the first day of the release of the GOLDEN album, the 11 tracks on the album were listened to by a total of 39,653,740 streams. Jungkook became the first K-Pop soloist in Spotify history to achieve that many total streams for an album release in one day.

To date, the GOLDEN album has reached 1.34 billion streams on the platform. In different news, Jungkook recently took home the trophy at the 2023 MTV EMAs. Even though the broadcast of the event was cancelled, the trophy presentation still took place.

Jungkook won as Best K-Pop, ahead of TXT, SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, FIFTY FIFTY, and Stray Kids. Jungkook's second MTV EMAs 2023 trophy came from the Best Song category. His solo debut song entitled Seven (feat. Latto) managed to come out as Best Song this year, beating songs by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA.
