On the weekend of December 23 2023, NewJeans proved their strength by climbing to #138 with the album Get Up. Get Up is NewJeans' second successful mini album (EP) with songs such as Super Shy and ETA. To date, these two songs are still the favorites on South Korea's domestic chart, Melon.
This is NewJeans' 21st week on the Billboard 200 chart. Making them the second K-Pop group after BLACKPINK who managed to last 26 weeks on the chart with the album THE ALBUM which was released in 2020. The first week of Get Up's release also set a record for NewJeans on the Billboard 200 chart.
They became the fastest female K-Pop group to rank #1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Now NewJeans is the third K-Pop artist who has managed to stay on the chart for more than 20 weeks. Apart from BLACKPINK, previously there was also BTS.
Not long ago, NewJeans' hit songs were given new life by ADOR, their management, through the release of a remix album. This album, entitled NJWMX, was released on December 19, 2023 and contains all the songs from the OMG album in new versions. These songs include Ditto, OMG, Attention, Hype Boy, Cookie, and Hurt.
Everything will be packaged in a new nuance through 250 Remix and FRNK Remix. Along with the Remix version, the instrumentals for each song were also released in a new version.
