Ji Suk Jin will soon appear on the latest episode of the variety show program ' Running Man ', after returning from his hiatus. Quoting from Allkpop on Monday January 15, 2024, news outlet OSEN reported that Ji Suk Jin would attend the recording of the latest episode of 'Running Man' after being absent for 5 weeks.
The latest episode with Ji Suk Jin will reportedly be broadcast on January 28, 2024. Previously, Ji Suk Jin announced a hiatus from all his activities through an official announcement from the Esteem Entertainment agency on December 18, 2023.
The agency announced that the artist underwent a medical test and according to medical advice, he decided to take a break from his activities and focus on recovering his health condition. Apart from being absent from 'Running Man', Ji Suk Jin also appeared to be absent from the 'SBS Entertainment Awards 2023' which was held on December 30 2023.
During his hiatus, Ji Suk Jin focused on recovering quickly. Fans and a number of his colleagues also gave him full support. Now, in just one month, Ji Suk Jin has decided to start his activities again. Previously, insiders provided a leak that Ji Suk Jin would return in February.
However, the artist accelerated his hiatus, and will return to greet viewers in the near future. The production team also welcomed Ji Suk Jin's quick return. Producer Choi Hyeong-in hinted at a possible return earlier than expected at the year-end awards ceremony.
He said, "I want to spread rumors. First, 'Running Man' is entering its 15th year, and has been the top OTT variety show for four consecutive years. Second, Ji Suk Jin may return sooner than we think."
