The latest trailer for Despicable Me 4 has been launched, marking animated film fans to prepare for the arrival of the latest release in the Illumination production franchise which started in 2010.
Gru, a former supervillain who now works as an agent of the Anti-Villain League, returns in a new era of Minions adventures, along with his wife and three adopted children: Margo, Edith, and Agnes. Their family has now expanded with the presence of Gru Jr., who likes to throw tantrums at his father.
Their lives are thrown into chaos when they are targeted by Maxime Le Mal, a seasoned criminal who managed to escape, and his deadly girlfriend, Valentina. The trailer starts with a business-style atmosphere, the Minions appear in office employee-style uniforms. Then the scream " Gru has been compromised! " echoed.
The scene shifts to Lucy, Gru's wife, who is running through the supermarket with Agnes and Edith, trying to escape Valentina. To face Maxime Le Mal and Valentina, Gru's team devises a plan to turn the Minions into Mega Minions, a secret weapon in the fight against their enemies.
The Despicable Me 4 trailer delivers everything fans of the Despicable Me franchise could want . Apart from the entertaining action and the presence of adorable Minions, this trailer also shows the heartwarming moments that are characteristic of this series.
For example, there are scenes of Gru lovingly caring for Agnes and Edith, illustrating the character's gentle, fatherly side. However, in the midst of all that, Gru still maintains his trademark as a wicked bad guy, such as when he invites Agnes to imitate the behavior of her sister, Edith, in a funny way.
Minions : The Rise of Gru earned $940.2 million at the box office. Meanwhile, the previous sequel, Despicable Me 3, was also a huge success with total revenues of $1.035 billion.
