Sony Pictures recently released the first trailer for the film Venom: The Last Dance. This will be the last Venom film with Tom Hardy in the lead role. The future of Sony's Spider-Man universe after 2024 remains uncertain, but Venom: The Last Dance marks the end of the story for the Venom character.

Several months before Venom: The Last Dance aired, Sony Pictures released the first trailer on various social media platforms. This film is the final part of the Venom trilogy and was directed by Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the previous two Venom films.

Adapted from the Screen Rant page on Tuesday June 4, 2024, this film will tell the story of Eddie and Venom who are on the run where they are chased by the two worlds they inhabit. As time continues to race by, they have to make difficult decisions that will end their story.

The trailer shows many symbiotes arriving on Earth, possibly to bring Venom back to their home planet. However, the characters played by Chiwetel Ejiofor and Juno Temple hinder this effort because they want to keep the existence of the symbiote a secret.

While it was known from the start that Venom: The Last Dance would take place immediately after the events at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home , the sequel may have influenced plans for Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4.

In the trailer, we see a piece of the symbiote left on Earth-616 captured by Chiwetel Ejiofor's character, meaning there will be no possibility for the story of the black costume to be explored in Spider-Man 4. Not only that, there was the presence of Rhys Ifans which fans did not expect.

He previously played Dr. Curt Connors or also known as The Lizard in the film The Amazing Spider-Man. With the release of the first trailer for Venom: The Last Dance , we can wait for further leaks or information from Sony Pictures ahead of the official screening of the film next October 2024.
