One of the members of the legendary group BIGBANG, Daesung, recently expressed his desire to get married before turning 40. This confession immediately made fans, who are familiarly called VIPs, discuss it on social media.
As reported by Kbizoom, in the latest episode of the show “ZIP Daesung”, Daesung openly discussed his personal life while chatting with his close friend, CL 2NE1. When asked if he was in a relationship, Daesung replied, “No, but… I want to get married before I’m 40.”
Daesung’s honest answer certainly surprised and delighted fans. Over the years, Daesung has often been dubbed “eternal single” because he is rarely seen involved in dating rumors. Therefore, this statement is considered a breath of fresh air for fans who have long been waiting for happy news from their idol.
“I’ve always thought about getting married. I’ve always wanted to get married before I turn 40,” Daesung said. He also added that seeing his close friend, Taeyang, happy after getting married made him even more convinced that he wanted to follow in his footsteps.
The 2NE1 leader teased Daesung, saying that he still had plenty of time to make it happen. “If I say I will get married before 40, I will do it! No one is stopping me, no one!” she said. At 35, Daesung still has five more years to make his wish come true.
CL, who is also a close friend of Daesung, suggested that he go out more often to meet a suitable woman. Daesung is known to have debuted with BIGBANG in 2006 as the group's main vocalist.
