Kim Da Mi was recently tapped to star in the latest Korean drama. Quoting from Soompi on Wednesday June 12, 2024, it was reported that Kim Da Mi was in the final negotiation stages to take on the main role in the Korean drama ' A Hundred Memories '. Responding to the report, UAA as Kim Da Mi's agency said, "'A Hundred Memories' is one of the projects for which she received an offer." 

Set in the 1980s, the drama 'A Hundred Memories' tells the story of the friendship and love story of bus conductors who guided passengers in that era. Kim Da Mi has been offered the role of Go Young Rye, a bus conductor who works for Cheong Ah Transport. He is known as a brave and enthusiastic figure. 

Despite suffering from carsickness, he takes the bus every day to support his mother's livelihood. According to drama production company SLL, 'A Hundred Memories' will be directed by Kim Sang Ho who previously directed 'Thirty-Nine', while the script was written by Yang Hee Seung, who previously wrote the drama 'Crash Course in Romance'. 

Meanwhile, Kim Da Mi debuted as an actress through an independent film. Her name became known after playing the role of Koo Ja Yoon in the mystery action film 'The Witch: Part 1 The Subversion', where he was selected from 1500 candidates who auditioned for the role. 

Thanks to the film, Kim Da Mi received recognition from the public for her strong performance in a challenging role, where the role included intense fight scenes, and won many awards for a newcomer actress. Kim Da Mi debuted on the small screen through the drama 'Itaewon Class'. Thanks to her performance, she managed to win the Best New Actress (TV) Award at the 56th Baeksang Arts Awards. 

Meanwhile, it is not yet known who has been tapped to play the male lead who will be opposite Kim Da Mi in 'A Hundred Memories'. If Kim Da Mi accepts the offer, this will be her comeback to the small screen after previously starring in 'Our Beloved Summer' in 2021. Stay tuned for further information!
