BTS's Jimin has received a gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America or RIAA. In addition, he is ranked third in the Global Digital Artist Ranking after beating Eminem, who was in second place. Jimin gained great popularity in the US music market. 

The pre-release song "Set Me Free Pt. 2" from his first solo album, FACE, sold over 500 thousand units in the US. Thanks to these sales figures, he received RIAA certification. The song "Set Me Free Pt. 2" combines intense choreography with Jimin's signature voice. 

The song has now surpassed 151 million views on YouTube and surpassed 372 million streams on Spotify, within 1 year and 4 months of its release. In addition to the song, FACE Album became the first non-English (Korean) album by an Asian solo artist to sell over 500 thousand units and received RIAA Gold certification on July 5, 2024. 

Meanwhile, the song "Like Crazy" which had sold over 1 million units in August 2023, received Platinum certification in December due to late agency submission. Not only that, the song Angel Pt. 2 which is the main theme song for the film Fast & Furious 10, also sold more than 500 thousand units in the United States. 

Jimin also set a new record with his three solo songs included in the BTS album, "Lie," Serendipity, and "Filter" which reached 500 thousand units of sales. Meanwhile, in the Global Digital Artist Ranking which covers worldwide platforms such as Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, Apple Music and Shazam, Jimin was in second place after Taylor Swift on July 20, 2024. He had beaten Eminem who was in third place. 

However, his ranking dropped to third place on July 21, 2024. Jimin's popularity skyrocketed after releasing his second solo album MUSE on July 19, 2024. On the day of its release, he received around 26.2 million streams on Spotify. He set a record for the most streams for a K-pop album in 2024 and entered the 10th position on Spotify's Global Daily Top Artist chart. 

He also managed to climb to the 59th position on the US Top Artist Chart, higher than Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber. The title track "Who" topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in over 112 countries on its release day. It even topped the iTunes Top Songs chart worldwide and iTunes Top Songs Europe simultaneously. Its music video topped the Global Daily Top Music Video Chart on Youtube.
