Hugh Jackman is confirmed to return as Wolverine in the film Deadpool & Wolverine. The news was announced directly by Ryan Reynolds who is also known as the main actor and producer of the previous film.
Ryan Reynolds packaged the "promotional" content of the third Deadpool film by uploading a nearly 1.5 minute video on Twitter @VancityReynolds, Wednesday, September 28, 2022. He said that since Deadpool finally entered Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe, he tried hard to create something interesting but without losing Deadpool's characteristics.
With a self-discovery-style video, Blake Lively's husband describes the search for a "Deadpool" that fits the MCU image. He claims to be stuck, but then there's an interesting clip where someone goes up the stairs and Ryan Reynolds makes conversation.
"Hey Hugh, wanna play Wolverine one more time?" he asked. The figure climbing the stairs, believed to be Hugh Jackman, replied, "Yes, of course, Ryan," Hugh Jackman replied.
The video then ends and gives the description "9.6.24" which if interpreted could be the release date of "Deadpool 3" on big screens globally. Of course, fans are looking forward to seeing Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman appear together on the same screen again and play the iconic characters from X-men.
