Unpleasant news came from the boy group Mirae under the auspices of the DSP Media agency. Mirae was officially declared disbanded on Tuesday July 9, 2024. As reported by Naver, Mirae decided to end their group activities after 3 years of debut, and the members will each pursue solo activities.
On the other hand, popular member, Son Dong Pyo, will remain with the agency DSP Media, and continue his solo activities with the agency. Mirae made its debut in March 2021 with 7 members, including Lee Jun Hyuk, Lian, Yoo Do Hyun, Kael, Son Dong Pyo, Park Si Young, and Jang Yu Bin.
Mirae attracted a lot of public attention after member Son Dong Pyo, who previously participated in Mnet's idol survival program 'Produce X 101' in 2019, who also debuted with the group X1, joined the lineup of Mirae's group members.
Mirae itself is known as a boy group that debuted under the auspices of the DSP Media agency, which previously gave birth to popular and legendary K-Pop groups, including Sechs Kies, Fin.KL, Click-B, SS501, Kara, and April.
Unfortunately, Mirae's career as a boy group was not as long as the careers of their predecessor groups and they were forced to disband after only 3 years of debut. Throughout their career, Mirae has released several albums. Starting with the album in the concept series 'Future Trilogy' consisting of mini albums titled 'KILLA', 'Splash', and 'Marvelous'.
This series of albums tells the story of the passion and enthusiasm of the boys to achieve the future together. Next, Mirae released a number of other albums under the concept of the 'Boy' series, through a series of albums titled 'Outurn' and 'Boys Will Be Boys'.
Not stopping there, Mirae also released their Japanese debut single titled 'Running Up' last April. However, after that, Mirae members focused their activities on individual activities. As a result, they decided to disband and focus on their individual solo activities after 3 years of their career as a group.
