Jungkook of BTS unveiled the main trailer for his highly anticipated documentary film on the group's official social media platforms at 10 p.m. on August 21, 2024. The trailer opens with a guerrilla performance at TSX Entertainment in Times Square, Manhattan, New York, from November of last year.
As he surveys the crowd filling the streets before the performance, Jungkook remarks, "I’m suddenly nervous... but I’ll do my best today," quickly regaining his composure. The documentary will cover a span of eight months, highlighting Jungkook's solo career journey.
It includes scenes from the recording of his hit single "Seven (feat. Latto)," released in July of last year, the music video shoot for the title track "Standing Next to You," and the fan showcase 'JUNG KOOK: GOLDEN Live On Stage,' which connected fans from 224 countries/regions both online and offline.
In the trailer, Jungkook reflects, "Seeing these achievements has given me confidence. The process itself was incredibly rewarding. I am aware of my shortcomings and am committed to improving." He also expresses gratitude to his fans, saying, "Thanks to ARMY, I’m continually encouraged.
It’s wonderful to have such supportive fans." Jungkook's documentary film, titled 'JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL', is set to premiere on September 18, 2024 at CGV Korea and in theaters across approximately 120 countries/regions. The film will also be released in Japan on October 4, 2024.
It will feature an in-depth look at the creation of Jungkook's first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" and his solo album ''GOLDEN, which was released in November of last year. The documentary will also include an exclusive interview with Jungkook, offering insights never before shared with the public.
