Actor Tom Cruise is reportedly paying for his daughter Suri Cruise's college education, who is now a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. The 'Top Gun: Maverick' star is said to be paying his daughter's annual college tuition of US$65,000.
Although not emotionally close and rarely face to face, a source said that Tom Cruise has never neglected his responsibilities as a father. "Tom does pay for Suri's school - he always has and he will never stop. He never hesitates to pay for her child support and living expenses.
He doesn't go back on his word. He fulfills his obligations," the source said, as reported by Female First. As reported by the Daily Mail, one of Tom and Katie Holmes' divorce agreements includes a clause that states that he must cover all of Suri's education costs.
The divorce documents state that the 62-year-old star is required to pay for her child's expenses including health, dental, insurance, education, college and other extracurricular expenses. According to the divorce agreement, Tom Cruise pays $400 thousand per year for his daughter's life. However, after she turned 18 in April, he is no longer required to pay child support.
