The latest Netflix film titled ' Officer Black Belt ' is preparing for its release this coming September, making the audience even more impatient. Carrying the action comedy genre, 'Officer Black Belt' tells the story of a young man who looks ordinary, but he has the highest rank in taekwondo, kendo, and judo, and uses his abilities to help others.
In this drama, Kim Woo Bin plays Lee Jung Do, a young man who works as a delivery courier for his father's chicken restaurant. Although he looks like a typical young man, Lee Jung Do has extraordinary martial arts skills. When someone is in trouble, Lee Jung Do helps them without hesitation.
One day, Lee Jung Do happens to see a martial arts officer being attacked by a probation prisoner wearing an electronic ankle bracelet. After saving the officer, Lee Jung Do begins to replace the injured officer for 5 weeks. He partners with officer Kim Sun Min (played by Kim Sung Kyun). As a martial arts officer, Lee Jung Do's job is to help in physically dangerous situations.
Kim Sun Min manages violent offenders who are on probation. While Lee Jung Do works under her, Kim Sun Min notices his talent in fighting and suggests that he work full-time as a martial arts officer. The latest poster released shows Kim Woo Bin with his new hairstyle, throwing punches with a confident smile.
Anticipation for the film is increasing because Kim Woo Bin will be showing a unique and different character. Meanwhile, the film's trailer begins with Lee Jung Do showing off his impressive martial arts prowess, with a third-degree black belt in taekwondo, kendo, and judo.
Kim Seon Min, who monitors criminals by wearing electronic ankle monitors across the country, notices Lee Jung Do's extraordinary abilities and invites him to join as a martial arts officer. Meanwhile, the film 'Officer Black Belt' is scheduled to be released on September 13, 2024 on Netflix.
