Company Soosoo released a statement on September 20, 2024 to announce that they will be taking strong legal action against malicious posts about EXO's Doh Kyung Soo (D.O). The agency said, "We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the fans who have given their love and attention to Company Soosoo's artist, Doh Kyung Soo."
"We plan to take strong legal action against malicious posts that unintentionally defame our artists through malicious defamation, spreading lies, or personal attacks and insults." "Through real-time monitoring and reporting, we have confirmed that malicious posts containing insults and defamation about our artists are continuously being posted online."
"Therefore, we are collecting evidence and related materials en masse, and we have decided that we can no longer ignore the seriousness of the situation caused by this malicious post." They added, "Therefore, we will make every effort to collect evidence regarding malicious posts and actively monitor [the situation] to protect our artist's rights."
"In addition, the interest and reports from [Doh Kyung Soo] fans are very helpful to us. If you find any criminal activity such as malicious posts or personal attacks and insults, please report it to our official email address (clean@companysoosoo.com). Thank you."
