INB100 has released an apology regarding the controversy surrounding Baekhyun , where the artist was caught smoking indoors. Quoting Soompi on Wednesday September 18, 2024, the INB100 agency issued an official apology regarding the issue. Baekhyun himself was known on September 16, involved in an indoor smoking incident.
It went viral after a video showed Baekhyun smoking a vape in a restaurant in Macau and then became the attention of the internet. The video shows Baekhyun chatting in a corner while smoking, along with several people who are believed to be staff members. In response to the news, INB100's agency issued an official apology as follows.
"Hello. This is INB100. We sincerely apologize to everyone who experienced discomfort due to the recent indoor smoking controversy involving our artist Baekhyun," INB100 wrote. Furthermore, the agency later stated that at that time neither Baekhyun nor the staff were aware that e- cigarettes were banned in Macau.
This is what caused Baekhyun to unknowingly use an electronic cigarette while eating with the staff after performing in Macau as their conversation became more intense. The agency also revealed that Baekhyun currently feels very sorry for disappointing many fans due to his careless actions.
INB100 also revealed that in the future it will be more vigilant to ensure that incidents like this will not happen again in the future. "Both Baekhyun and our company will be more vigilant to ensure that such incidents do not happen again, and we promise not to disappoint our fans in the future.
