SAY MY NAME, a new girl group from startup agency iNKODE, has finally officially introduced their first member. Through a video trailer upload on the SAY MY NAME YouTube channel on Friday August 30, 2024, member Dohee was officially introduced as the first member.

In the short video of about 41 seconds, Dohee successfully stole attention with her young and innocent visuals. The sweet and cheerful smile on her face also displays her own charm. Meanwhile, the first member introduction trailer video of SAY MY NAME also combines the concept of animation into the video.

An animated cat character is shown to represent Dohee's character. The interaction between real characters and animated cat characters in one video is the main highlight in the concept that will be highlighted by SAY MY NAME later. This girl group also seems to be using cat characters as a symbol or representation of the group.

This is proven by the presence of 3 other cat characters with different colors at the end of the video. As if giving a spoiler about the existence of 3 other members. That way, it is possible that SAY MY NAME will consist of 4 members, according to the number of animated cat characters that appear in the trailer video introducing the first member Dohee.

The use of animated cat characters to represent group members is also seen in the rookie group from The Black Label, which recently introduced all five members. However, unlike MEOVV which is represented by a black cat character, the girl group SAY MY NAME displays cat characters in various colors to represent the characters of the members.

With the possibility of a more colorful and cheerful concept. The first girl group from the iNKODE agency is rumored to be making its debut in October. Kim Jaejoong, a solo singer and former member of the boy group TVXQ, acts as the chief strategist at the agency. Making K-Pop music lovers curious about the concept and quality of the girl group he will create.

Meanwhile, iNKODE is a new entertainment agency founded by Noh Hyun Tae, who previously served as vice president at Cube Entertainment. Kim Jaejoong was placed at the agency as an artist and Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing the company's idol group production.
