FNC Entertainment's band, CNBLUE , finally officially released their latest album titled 'X' on Monday October 10, 2024. 'X' is CNBLUE's tenth mini album after three years of not releasing a new work. Along with that, they have also shared a music video for the title track titled ' A Sleepless Night ' via the CNBLUE YouTube channel.
'A Sleepless Night' is a medium-tempo rock song, accompanied by a unique whistling sound. The lyrics of the song sound very poetic because they were inspired by a poem by a poet named Ha Sang Wook. This song tells about someone who can't move on from the shadow of his ex-lover, and longing for memories in the past.
For the music video of the song 'A Sleepless Night' itself, it is expressed epically by the CNBLUE members who appear to be trapped alone in a small place, like an isolation room. This video is also presented in black and white which emphasizes past events or memories.
The three CNBLUE members not only appeared with their live performance in the music video for the song 'A Sleepless Night.' However, the three of them also successfully expressed feelings of restlessness, insomnia, and fear due to haunting memories of past love.
Which is clearly described through lyrics such as, " I try to deny it.
