Ariana Grande feels interested in focusing on the musical field rather than studying music which is her main job. She revealed this started to emerge after she played Glinda in the film Wicked. “(Theater) is my heart,” Ariana Grande said on the Las Culturistas podcast.
Before becoming a singer, Grande was a member of the theater in 13: The Musical. She also had a role on the sitcom Victorious. “I’m gonna say something really scary, really scary to my fans and everybody but I love them and they agree and we’re gonna be here forever,” Ariana Grande said.
“I’m always going to make music, I’m always going to be on stage, I’m always going to make pop stuff, I promise. But I don’t think doing it at the pace I’ve been doing it for the last 10 years is where I’m going to be in the next 10 years,” she continued.
According to him, acting in the film Wicked brought back his memories of theater and he plans to return to theater. “Connecting with the part of me that started out in musical theater and loved comedy and healing myself to do that, finding roles to use that part of me in characters through song and voice,” Grande said.
"Anything that makes sense or is a good role or where I can do good work, I'm very interested. I think this is better. I'm getting emotional," Ariana Grande said. Ariana Grande stars in the two-part musical Wicked , which also stars Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Peter Dinklage, Jonathan Bailey, and more.
