Moon Sang Min and Byun Yo Han spoke about their kiss scene in the new Netflix film 'Pavane' during a press conference on February 12, 2026. The event was also attended by director Lee Jong Pil and other main cast members, including actress Go Ah Sung.
Moon Sang Min revealed that the intimate scene was successfully completed in one take, thanks to Byun Yo Han's initiative. "Before filming, Yo Han hyung whispered in my ear, 'Sangmin-ah, I'll do it strongly just once.'
Because he took courage and did it firmly, the scene was completed in one try," said Moon Sang Min. Echoing Moon Sang Min, Byun Yo Han emphasized that his primary focus was the emotions of his character.
However, he admitted to feeling a bit awkward after the scene was over. "That scene was very important for the character Gyeong Rok. Because I focused on the character, the scene wasn't difficult and it ended well as Sangmin said," said Byun Yo Han.
However, he admitted to being a little nervous about the situation after the kiss. "Usually I know how to act, like asking 'are you okay?' or handing her a tissue. But this time I really didn't know what to do. It felt like all my skills were gone," he admitted honestly.
"Pavane," directed by Lee Jong Pil, whose previous works include "Samjin Company English Class" and "Escape," tells the story of three people who have isolated themselves from the world.
They then find light in each other's lives and slowly begin to face life and love again. Viewers can witness the unique chemistry between Byun Yo Han and Moon Sang Min in 'Pavane' which will be released on Netflix on February 20, 2026.
