Song Seung Heon stars in the latest film entitled Hidden Face which will be showing starting on Wednesday November 20, 2024 in South Korea. The film tells the story of Seong Jin (Song Seung Heon), a conductor who leads an orchestra.
He is engaged to Soo Yeon (Cho Yeo Jeong), a cellist and member of Seong Jin's orchestra. One day, Soo Yeon disappears, leaving behind a recorded video message. Seong Jin feels sad about Soo Yeon's sudden departure.
At the same time, he is attracted to Mi Joo (Park Ji Hyun), who has replaced Soo Yeon in the orchestra. Meanwhile, Soo Yeon, who was thought to have disappeared, is trapped in a secret room in her house. She sees what is hidden behind the faces around her.
This film is the latest work of director Kim Dae Woo who previously directed Obsessed. There are also several vulgar scenes in this film that Song Seung Heon must act out, just like in the film Obsessed. Regarding the vulgar scene, Song Seung Heon admitted that he was not so worried.
This is because director Kim Dae Woo directed it well. Song Seung Heon also said that the scene was not made haphazardly, but was bound and in accordance with the needs of the story. "He doesn't put in explicit scenes just for the sake of it.
There's always a reason, a natural flow in the story that leads to those moments," Song Seung Heon said in an interview quoted from Korean Vibe, Wednesday November 20, 2024. In addition, director Kim Dae Woo also gave clear boundaries during the shooting location, even demonstrating them beforehand.
"The director's directions were very clear. Some directors let the actors figure it out on their own, which can be difficult, but Kim Dae Woo didn't leave us confused and gave us restrictions. He and the assistant director even acted out the scenes for us," he continued.
