OH MY GIRL's YooA was a guest star on Mimi 's YouTube channel on December 20, 2024. On that occasion, Yooa responded to rumors that she suffers from Mythomania (a mental disorder that causes someone to lie continuously).
The video initially shows the two idols mukbang with spicy chicken stir-fried noodles. After chatting for a long time, YooA also touched on rumors of suffering from Mythomania. "People said that I was lying," confessed the idol.
According to YooA, the accusations came after it was revealed that she couldn't run well. "When I run, I don't run well. They asked me why I lied on other broadcasts and said I was good at running. Try and see if I can run," YooA continued.
Mimi helped explain from her perspective. "It's not like this is how muscles are built. I just run and dance and do this, and I don't know... It doesn't look good, but that's how it appears on screen," Mimi said. However, YooA admitted that the OH MY GIRL members couldn't run very well.
"But now that I think about it, but we couldn't run, right? You know? It was so painful," YooA recalled, making Mimi laugh. The Mythomania accusations arose not only because YooA was considered to be lying about being good at running. Previously, the idol had also been involved in several controversies in the past.
She was suspected of lying on TV when she said she didn't want to be a singer, but ended up debuting because she had a stalker. However, YooA actually entered a dance academy to become a singer in high school. YooA also claimed to have majored in dance at Sejong University, but she never attended a university but attended an academy.
