Yoo Yeon Seok's Acting When Announcing Chae Soo Bin Was Kidnapped in 'When the Phone Rings'

"When the Phone Rings" aired its 10th episode on December 28, 2024. In the latest episode of the MBC drama, Baek Sa Eon (Yoo Yeon Seok) was again panicked because Hong Hee Joo (Chae Soo Bin) was kidnapped again by the real Baek Sa Eon (Park Jae Yoon).

The tenth episode preview shows a kidnapper who is being hunted by the police for a number of crimes. Despite being in a desperate situation, the man still holds a big grudge against Sa Eon who lives a prosperous life and has a beautiful wife. Fake Sa Eon finally kidnaps Hee Joo again and makes Sa Eon frantically search for him. 

However, Hee Joo who intends to save Sa Eon asks her husband not to look for her. Hee Joo crashes her car into a ravine with the kidnapper. However, the police who found the car wreck, could not find the body of Hee Joo and the kidnapper. 

In the end, Sa Eon held a press conference in front of many media to reveal the condition of his kidnapped wife. Sa Eon initially reveals that he is not actually the biological son of presidential candidate Paik Ui Yong (Yu Seong Ju). He then reveals that he is married to Hee Joo, who works as a sign language interpreter at the presidential office.

As soon as the latest episode of "When the Phone Rings" aired, many immediately highlighted Yeon Seok's acting when he did a press conference. Because, his acting was really deep with red eyes and a dull face, as if he was really stressed that his wife was kidnapped.

" Feels like I'm watching breaking news on CNN, I'm really sad watching this scene [sic!]," wrote one netizen. " Please he really deserves a daesang, his acting in WTPR is really crazy [sic!]," added another. " This scene is really sad, it really feels like he lost his wife [sic!]," replied another netizen.

" I couldn't bear to see Saeon's expression last night, I cried too [sic!]," added another. " Basically this scene is so sad, I really cried watching it, whether it's in a drama or BTS, it's both sad, I really hope tomorrow yys gets Daesang PLZZ JEBALLL [sic!]," continued another.

On the other hand, the figure who helped the kidnapper in carrying out his crime turned out to be Park Do Jae ( Choi Woo Jin ). However, Do Jae actually only wanted revenge because his twin brother was killed by the real Sa Eon when he was a child.

Do Jae had helped Sa Eon who almost got hurt at the hands of the kidnapper. However, the man was the one who got hurt by the kidnapper's knife. Fortunately, Do Jae is still alive and undergoing treatment. The man is now helping Sa Eon to catch the kidnapper.
