Nam Da Reum is reportedly set to star in a new Korean drama titled My Youth (working title). My Youth is a romance drama that follows the story of Sunwoo Hae (Song Joong Ki), who starts living an ordinary life later than most people, and Sung Je Yeon (Chun Woo Hee), who must disrupt the peace of her first love for her own success.
The story unfolds as these two characters, who once supported each other through the darkest times in their lives, reunite after more than 10 years and begin to create new beautiful moments together.
Nam Da Reum has been cast as the younger version of Sunwoo Hae. A novelist and flower seller, Sunwoo Hae was once a famous child actor, but he was gradually forgotten by the public and is now living a new chapter in his life.
Nam Da Reum made his debut as a child actor playing the younger version of Kim Hyun Joong's character in Boys Over Flowers in 2009. Since then, he has played the younger version of the male lead in various dramas including Pinocchio, Six Flying Dragons, Hotel Del Luna, A Piece of Your Mind, and more.
Recently, Nam Da Reum returned to acting after his military discharge with The History of Us, which earned him the Special Drama Award at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards. The drama My Youth is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
