Yoo Yeon Seok recently had an interview with local media. The South Korean actor discussed various drama projects he has starred in so far. Interestingly, Yeon Seok also revealed his hopes of starring in the new season of "Hospital Playlist".

However, the actor admitted, "It's not easy to get all the cast together because everyone is now leading their own projects. We always ask the director in our group chat when the next season will happen." Yeon Seok also recently successfully starred in the drama "When the Phone Rings".

The actor played the character Baek Sa Eon, the youngest presidential spokesman with a perfect family background, appearance, and ability. Wearing a suit that highlights his charming body shape and giving a gaze full of passion and devotion, Yeon Seok shows off a touching romance with Chae Soo Bin's character.

His appearance has garnered enthusiastic reactions not only in Korea, but also throughout South America and other international regions. Yeon Seok then discussed the nickname "Sexy Eyebrows" that was given to him. "As an actor, getting just one nickname is not easy.

Sometimes, such nicknames stick around for so long that it becomes frustrating if you can't overcome them with a new character," said the man born in 1984. The actor is grateful for the nickname. "I'm grateful to have been given the nickname 'Sexy Eyebrows' and to have been remembered fondly.

It gives me energy as I enter my 40s as an actor," he continued. After starring in "When the Phone Rings," Yeon Seok's SNS followers doubled to 4.2 million. The actor also ranked first in the December TV and OTT drama actor rankings, even surpassing the cast of "Squid Game 2."

Reflecting on the success, Yeon Seok said, "It was an intense shoot, but the love he received overseas erased all the struggles. I think people really enjoyed the 'tsundere' male lead." For his acting in "When the Phone Rings," Yeon Seok won the Best Excellence Award and Best Couple Award at the MBC Drama Awards.

"My first drama was with MBC, so receiving such an important award there after 16 years is meaningful," said the handsome actor. From Chilbong in "Reply 1994" to Goo Dong Mae in "Mr. Sunshine", Kang Dong Joo in "Dr. Romantic", and Ahn Jeong Won in "Hospital Playlist", Yeon Seok's career has been defined by memorable characters.

Now in his 40s, he shared, "I was worried about whether I could still do romance in my 40s, but this has given me courage. I want to explore more mature romance and boldly take on genres I've never tried before. I also want to work in a variety of media, such as variety shows and musicals, and if there are opportunities overseas, I want to gain experience there as well."
