Super Junior's Eunhyuk finally won his first trophy as a soloist on a music show. On the February 7, 2025 episode of Music Bank, Eunhyuk took home the win for his song 'UP N DOWN', beating out IVE's 'REBEL HEART'.

This victory was a historic moment in his career, while also providing many entertaining moments for fans. Prior to his appearance, in a pre-show interview with ILLIT's MC Minju and MC Moon Sang Min, Eunhyuk jokingly referred to himself as a "12-day rookie" and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given.

He promised to continue working hard and not be complacent. However, he also made a statement that surprised everyone, "If I win today, I will retire." As it turned out, luck was on his side. When his name was announced as the winner, Eunhyuk looked genuinely surprised.

But what was more entertaining was the action of his Super Junior colleague, Donghae, who quickly raised a sign that said "Retire" in response to Eunhyuk's hilarious promise. This action immediately filled the Music Bank studio with laughter. Although the retirement promise was a joke, this win was still an emotional moment for Eunhyuk.

After 20 years in the music industry, he finally won his first trophy as a soloist. In his speech, Eunhyuk expressed his gratitude to ELF (Super Junior's fandom), Super Junior members, Donghae, and everyone who has supported him throughout his career journey.

"I am very grateful. This is an incredible achievement that I did not expect. I want to thank everyone who has supported me all this time," he said. This winning moment became a hot topic of conversation on social media. Fans were very entertained by Eunhyuk's spontaneous reaction and Donghae's mischief that always brings humor to every occasion.

Netizens flooded the comments, stating that Super Junior is always full of surprises and laughter. While retirement is not a real plan for Eunhyuk, this win proves that he still has a strong place in the music industry. Fans are now looking forward to the next steps in his solo career.
