Weak Hero Class 1 will be released globally in over 190 countries through Netflix beginning March 25, 2025. Based on the webtoon of the same name, Weak Hero Class 1 garnered both critical acclaim and popularity, recording an impressive 45.5% platform share on OTT platforms when it was first released in 2022.

The story of model student Yeon Si Eun (Park Ji Hoon) who accidentally gets caught in a whirlwind of violence and stands up against bullying inside and outside school alongside Su Ho (Choi Hyun Wook) and Beom Seok (Hong Kyung) resonated strongly with viewers as it portrayed the growth and friendship of the three friends.

Weak Hero Class 2 is expected to depict a desperate survival story and a brilliant coming-of-age tale of Yeon Si Eun, who transfers to Eunjang High School carrying the trauma of fighting violence for his friends but ultimately failing to protect them, as he faces even greater violence because he cannot lose another friend. Ryeoun, Choi Min Yeong, and Lee Min Jae will play new friends that Yeon Si Eun meets at Eunjang High School.

Most notably, Yu Su Bin, who played Choi Hyo Man and raised tensions by establishing himself as an antagonist to Yeon Si Eun at the end of the first season, is also set to appear, heightening curiosity. Additionally, Bae Na Ra has joined as part of the massive alliance that Yeon Si Eun and his friends will confront, while Lee Jun Young will make a special appearance, further fueling anticipation.
