Billie Eilish is reportedly preparing to return to the studio and work on new music this year. The plan was revealed directly by the musician while on her world tour titled Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour. She said that his plan this year is not only to make new music, but also to add to the world tour series.
"Definitely going back into the studio and finishing things up. I'm definitely going to be doing more touring in the next 12 months," Billie Eilish said in an interview on YouTube Hit Network, as reported by Billboard on Wednesday February 26, 2025.
"There are a lot of tours coming up, and maybe more than the current schedule, which I'm really looking forward to," she continued. The Birds of a Feather singer did not forget to share his feelings during the Hit Me Hard and Soft tour. She admitted that the world tour was a series of exciting activities.
The musician is also excited to visit more countries by July 2025. "I think this tour is something that's fun and exciting. I'm really excited about it," Eilish said. The upcoming plan also adds to Billie Eilish's activities, who has previously released three studio albums and two extended plays (EPs) since her debut in 2015.
She also just released an album last year titled Hit Me Hard and Soft. The studio album consists of 10 songs with three singles, including Lunch, Chihiro, and Birds of a Feather. Her latest album even received a lot of positive responses from both listeners and music critics.
Hit Me Hard and Soft previously also received seven nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, such as Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. Billie Eilish's tour has visited dozens of venues in Canada and the United States since it started in September to December 2024. Eilish will also head to Australia to hold concerts at various points, starting from Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne until March 2025.
