Seungri's personal life continues to attract attention, even though the man is no longer active in the entertainment industry. After getting out of prison, the guy born in 1990 is often abroad to party or meet new girls.

On March 19, 2025, Chinese media reported that Seungri was seen clubbing at a nightclub in Hangzhou. According to the media, the "Fantastic Baby" singer was guarded by around 10 bodyguards at once. Chinese media reported, "Seungri entered the venue with bodyguards guarding him.

He kept his head down and remained silent throughout the event, but a large crowd of fans gathered, screaming and paying attention to him." However, Seungri's return to the entertainment world may not be smooth sailing.

According to Chinese media, "To legally engage in cultural and artistic activities, registration with the Ministry of Culture is required." "It is still unclear whether Seungri's event is officially registered, and this will only be determined after the Ministry of Culture completes its investigation," the media outlet added.

Seungri has also drawn criticism for planning a comeback in China. "His presence at a nightclub in Hangzhou, despite his criminal record and his attempt to re-enter the Chinese market for financial gain is a blatant provocation of China's legal and moral standards," the media added.

Seungri was once a successful member of BIGBANG and opened a very popular business. However, in 2019, he was accused of being a key figure in the "Burning Sun" scandal, which led to his departure from the group and retirement from the entertainment industry.

Seungri was later sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on nine charges, including prostitution, mediation of prostitution, violation of the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, repeated gambling & violation of the Act on Foreign Exchange Transactions.

Seungri was also charged with violating the Food Sanitation Act, embezzlement of business, violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Certain Economic Crimes, and inciting special assault. He served his sentence at Yeoju Prison and was released in February 2023.

However, after his release, Seungri was seen frequenting clubs, partying, and meeting with foreign investors. Recently, reports emerged claiming that he was seen having dinner with women at a Seoul restaurant that specializes in bone soup for hangovers.
