Kim Soo Hyun is being sued by two brands that have made him a star in advertisements. The value of the lawsuit has reached 3 billion Won! YTN reported on Tuesday April 29, 2025, two companies that previously contracted the actor filed a lawsuit against Gold Medalist management.
They are asking for compensation. In their lawsuit, the two companies asked Gold Medalist to return the modeling fees that Kim Soo Hyun had received. Also to replace the material because the scandal caused losses.
The names of these companies were not disclosed. The total requested by them reached 3 billion Won (based on the exchange rate on April 29, 2025). Furthermore, it is reported that another company will file a lawsuit.
Previously, this company had terminated its contract with Kim Soo Hyun due to breach of trust. Lawyer Park Sung Woo from Wooree Law Firm explained that Kim Soo Hyun had already been under contract with 15 brands before his scandal broke.
It is estimated that one contract is worth 1 billion to 1.2 billion Won. If 15 brands from 15 different companies file the same lawsuit and then win in court, Kim Soo Hyun will potentially have to pay more than 10 billion Won in damages.
