SHINee will make a comeback with a mini album titled "Atmos" in June 2026. According to a report by the Korea Herald on Monday May 18, 2026, SM Entertainment, the agency that manages the group, confirmed that SHINee will release their sixth mini-album, titled "Atmos," on June 1, 2026.
SM Entertainment said the new mini album “Atmos” will showcase music that is “SHINee’s most distinctive style,” highlighting the group’s stylish musical color. SHINee's "Atmos" album will feature six songs, with the title track being the title track.
This release marks SHINee's first album since the physical single "Poet | Artist" in May 2025. The release of the mini-album "Atmos" also marks the return of SHINee member Key to official group activities after a six-month hiatus.
Last December 2025, Key temporarily halted activities amid controversy over his alleged involvement with an unlicensed medical practitioner. At the time, SM Entertainment stated that Key thought the individual was a licensed doctor and was unaware that receiving treatment at home could lead to legal issues.
Ahead of the album release, SHINee will also hold their eighth solo concert titled “The Trilogy I – 2026 SHINee World VIII : [The Invert]” at KSPO Dome, Olympic Park, Seoul, on May 29–31, 2026.
