Do you like Jo Jung Suk with his hilarious actions on screen? This time the Hospital Playlist actor is back with a zombie-themed comedy film. Jo Jung Suk plays the lead role in the film Zombie Daughter (translated title).
The film is an adaptation of a webtoon of the same name, telling the story of a father and his daughter who are infected with a zombie virus. Jung Hwan (Jo Jung Suk) is a father who loves his daughter, Soo Ah (Choi Yu Ri). But unfortunately, his daughter is infected with a virus that turns her into a zombie.
Intending to escape the troubles of the big city, Jung Hwan takes Soo Ah to a rural area. The house in the village is where Jung Hwan lived when he was a child. Can they escape the drama after moving to the village? The Zombie Daughter movie poster was released by film distributor NEW.
It shows Jo Jung Suk trying to cover Choi Yu Ri's face with a hoodie. From the face of Soo Ah's actor, we can see the strangeness. Her eyes are not like normal human eyes. There is a change in skin color that is starting to appear around her face.
Jo Jung Suk's expression is scared but also looks funny. At the bottom of the film title it says 'my daughter doesn't bite!', making it even more curious about how he will try to navigate life with the two of them. Zombie Daughter is directed by Pil Gam Seong.
He previously directed the film Hostage: Missing Celebrity (2021) and the series A Bloody Lucky Day (2023). In addition to Jo Jung Suk and Choi Yu Ri, Zombie Daughter also stars Lee Jung Eun, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Yoon Kyung Ho. The film is scheduled to air in South Korea in July 2025.
