Two SEVENTEEN members, S.Coups and Mingyu, are rumored to be debuting in a new unit. If this new unit is true, the duet of S.Coups and Mingyu will be SEVENTEEN's fourth unit after BSS, Jeonghan x Wonwoo (JxW), and Hoshi x Woozi (HxW).
In response to the report, a representative from PLEDIS Entertainment issued a brief statement. The source said they could not confirm anything yet. "It is difficult for us to confirm anything at this time," PLEDIS was quoted as saying by Soompi on Friday July 11, 2025.
It is known that S.Coups is the leader of SEVENTEEN as well as the leader of the hip-hop team, along with Mingyu who is also a member of the hip-hop team. Unlike previous units that combined vocal and performance team members or vocal and hip-hop members, this will be a unit consisting only of hip-hop team members.
