Cha Eun Woo successfully held his final fan meeting before enlisting in the military. The star of the Korean drama "True Beauty" will be leaving his fans for approximately two years. He enlisted as a member of the Army military band and is scheduled to begin his service this month.
On Saturday July 12, 2025, Cha Eun Woo greeted his fans at a fan meeting titled 'THE ROYAL' at the Grand Peace Hall, Kyung Hee University, Seoul. True to the event's name, Cha Eun Woo transformed into a prince, appearing in white royal attire.
The fan meeting not only left memorable memories but also brought surprises for fans. During the event, Cha Eun Woo delivered maximum fan service. He performed a new, unreleased song for the first time. In one of the event sessions, Cha Eun Woo acted out a romantic scene from the iconic Korean drama Princess Hours.
The venue became even more boisterous with fans' screams as Cha Eun Woo danced to the choreography of "Soda Pop." The song is the soundtrack for the K-pop animated film Demon Hunters, which has topped Netflix's Global Top 10 Movies list since Friday (June 20, 2025).
And of course, the ASTRO member sang several of his signature solo songs, STAY, Fu*king Great Time, You're the Best, and Alone with You. He also sang the soundtrack for the 2020 Korean drama, True Beauty, starring Cha Eun Woo, Love So Fine.
Towards the end of the event, Cha Eun Woo thanked the fans who had gathered for his big day. The 28-year-old actor-idol hoped to leave a lasting impression before enlisting in the military. He also asked for their blessings.
"This show was prepared with the hope of making you smile, and leaving behind happy and joyful memories. Thanks to you, I was even able to become the crown prince, which was truly a joy," Cha Eun Woo exclaimed.
"I sincerely thank everyone who came today. Thanks to your support, I will depart and serve well, happy and healthy. See you again soon," he continued. Meanwhile, Cha Eun Woo became the second member of the KPop group ASTRO to carry out military service after MJ.
Cha Eun Woo has reached the age limit for military service for South Korean men, which is 28 years old. Ahead of his departure, he completed filming the Korean drama The WONDERfools and prepared for the screening of his latest film, The Ride.
