Through a statement from their legal team (JI-EUM law firm) on July 2, 2025, they denied the allegations. As reported by Zapzee, Song Ha Yoon's legal team explained that the accusations that occurred more than 20 years ago were not true.
“ From the beginning, Song Ha Yoon said that the accusations were not true. However, proving something that never happened is difficult. So at that time she could not immediately respond strongly ,” the statement read.
Over the past year, the actress has been secretly gathering evidence to refute the allegations. Now, he has enough evidence and has officially filed a criminal report with the authorities. The main reporter who named Song Ha Yoon as the perpetrator of bullying reportedly lives in the United States (US).
She claims to be a citizen of that country. However, according to the actress, the person is still a Korean citizen. Korean police have also tried to investigate, but the person refused to return home or assist in the legal process.
If he returns to Korea, the police are ready to continue the investigation. Song Ha Yoon is also considering taking legal action in the US. In fact, he plans to report other parties who helped spread the false rumors through criminal and civil channels.
The actress’ legal team also asserted, “ Song Ha Yoon never bullied anyone in high school and was never transferred because of that issue. We have provided official documents and statements from witnesses who can refute all of these allegations.”
