BTS's Jungkook made K-Pop history with his solo debut single "Seven." This song became the first K-Pop track to reach 2.5 billion streams on Spotify. Isn't that amazing?! According to the official Spotify page for Seven, the song, featuring Latto, had been streamed 2,502,019,279 times on the platform as of Thursday afternoon (August 21, 2025).

The streaming figures for the two versions, Explicit and Clean, were the same. Seven is the most-streamed song from BTS's youngest member's album, GOLDEN. Second place is "Standing Next to You," which has now been streamed 1.2 billion times, and "3D" featuring Jack Harlow, which has reached 991.4 million streams.

BIGHIT MUSIC, in its official statement, quoted by the Korea JoongAng Daily, stated that "Seven" reached 2.5 billion streams as of August 18, 2025. Jungkook achieved this feat more than two years after the track's release in July 2023. Of course, this isn't Seven's first achievement.

The song, which combines guitar melodies and the UK garage genre, previously reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Global 200, and Global Excl. US charts. Seven spent 108 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 chart and 109 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart. On Spotify, Seven also became the fastest song to reach 1 billion streams. Jungkook achieved this feat just 108 days after its release.

On Billboard's 2024 International Power Player list, Seven was also included as the most popular song in more than 200 countries outside the United States. The cumulative streaming numbers for all of Jungkook's solo tracks on Spotify currently stand at 9.4 billion. When it comes to streaming numbers, Jungkook is the king of K-Pop!
