South Korean actor and former SF9 member, Rowoon will officially begin his mandatory military service on Monday October 27, 2025. FNC Entertainment confirmed the updated date today Tuesday August 26, 2025.
Rowoon was originally scheduled to enlist on July 21, 2025, but was required to undergo a follow-up medical examination after his first physical. According to the agency, “Rowoon completed his re-examination in early August and has now been assigned to begin active duty on October 27, 2025.”
FNC Entertainment also reiterated its request for fans to respect the actor’s privacy on the day of enlistment. They announced there will be no official farewell event to prevent overcrowding. “The enlistment site is a private gathering place for many soldiers and their families,” the agency stated.
“We kindly ask that fans refrain from visiting.” The statement concluded, “We are sincerely grateful for the love you always show Rowoon. We ask for your continued support until he safely completes his service and returns in good health.”
