BLACKPINK's Rosé has set a new YouTube record with her song, "APT." The song surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube and 2 billion streams on Spotify in less than a year after its release.
As of September 12, 2025, APT's official music video surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube in just 334 days. This broke the previous record held by PSY's " Gangnam Style" (684 days), as the fastest music video by an Asian artist to reach that milestone.
APT even beat out some other big music videos, like Future & Drake's Life is Good (761 days) and The Weekend's Save Your Tears (1,649 days).
APT also ranks fourth on the list of fastest music videos to reach 2 billion views in YouTube history, after Girls Like You (Maroon 5 ft. Cardi B), Shape of You (Ed Sheeran), and Despacito (Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee).
This achievement makes Rose the first female artist whose music video reaches 2 billion views on YouTube in less than a year. APT is a collaboration song between BLACKPINK's Rose and Bruno Mars.
