The Korean drama 'My Troublesome Star' ended with a satisfactory rating. According to Nielsen Korea, the romantic comedy drama starring Uhm Jung Hwa and Song Seung Heon ended with an average national audience rating of 4.3 percent.
This figure marked the highest rating ever achieved during its run, a 0.4 point increase from the previous episode's 3.9 percent. Meanwhile, in the same slot, tvN's Korean drama Shin's Project continued its popularity by scoring an average national rating of 7.7 percent.
This figure is still quite high, even though it has experienced a slight decrease from its highest rating of 8 percent. The Korean drama My Troublesome Star tells a romantic comedy story about Korea's biggest star, Im Se Ra (played by Jang Da A), who mysteriously disappears.
Im Se Ra, who was on top of the world after becoming the youngest winner of the best actress award, was hit by a truck after receiving the award. She then wakes up as Bong Cheong Ja (played by Uhm Jung Hwa), an ordinary middle-aged woman from 25 years in the future.
Cheong Ja decides to return to acting, hoping to restore her former glory and find out what happened to her. He is assisted by Dokgo Cheol (played by Song Seung Heon), a former violent crimes detective who was demoted to traffic police.
And without realizing it, Dokgo Cheol has a mysterious past connection to Se Ra. Cheong Ja and Cheol are shocked, they begin to fall in love with each other, taking their lives in a completely new direction.
