BTS's Jimin once again showed his concern for education by donating 100 million won to the Jeonbuk Education Office Love Scholarship Foundation. According to an official statement from the Jeonbuk Education Office on September 25, 2025, the donation was received on September 18, 2025.
This donation was first initiated through communication between Jimin's father and the secretariat of the Deputy Head of the Jeonbuk Education Office last July 2025, who conveyed the artist's good intentions to contribute to the world of education.
This isn't the first time Jimin has demonstrated his philanthropic act. Since 2019, he has been actively donating to scholarships for underprivileged students in various regions of South Korea, starting with the Busan Office of Education, followed by Jeonnam, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongnam.
This is his sixth donation to Jeonbuk. The Jeonbuk Education Office stated that the funds will be used to support the academic needs of students in the region. Deputy Head of the Jeonbuk Education Office, Yoo Jeong Gi, expressed his gratitude to Jimin.
"We are very grateful for BTS Jimin's kindness in caring about the future of children. We will distribute this donation through the Love Scholarship Foundation to help students studying despite limitations," he said.
Jimin's noble action has once again inspired many, emphasizing his positive role not only as an entertainer, but also as a figure who cares about the education and welfare of the younger generation.
