Right on his birthday this Friday September 12, 2025, BTS's RM made a large donation to two well-known hospitals in South Korea. He donated 100 million won each to Asan Medical Center and Korea University Medical Center.
In a statement, RM said the donation was a "small but warm glimmer of hope" for the patients. He also expressed his joy at being able to "make a small contribution to improving the quality of treatment and promoting the values of respecting life."
This donation adds to RM's long list of charitable activities, which have previously included donations to war veterans and institutions preserving Korean cultural assets overseas. Meanwhile, BTS is reportedly working on a full-length album in the United States.
A local media outlet reported that the seven-member group will make a comeback this coming March. Their most recent release was the digital single "Take Two," which was released in June 2023 to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary.
