Hong Jong-hyun has officially been confirmed to join the Korean drama adaptation of the popular webtoon Positively Yours. According to the agency's statement, Hong Jong Hyun will play the character Lee Min-wook, replacing Yoon Ji-on who previously withdrew from the drama project due to a drunk driving (DUI) case.
All the scenes he has filmed will be deleted, and the production team will do a reshoot with Hong Jong-hyun. Positively Yours is a romantic comedy Korean drama that tells the story of the unexpected consequences of a one-night stand between two people who are both determined not to get married.
The Korean drama Positively Yours also stars Choi Jin Hyuk as Kang Doo Joon and Oh Yeon Seo as Jang Hee Won. The project, adapted from a webtoon of the same name, is scheduled to air in the first half of 2026, and is currently in re-production following a cast change.
Hong Jong-hyun is known as an actor and model from South Korea, born on February 2, 1990. His popularity increased after successfully playing the character Yi San in the SBS television drama Warrior Baek Dong-soo, which made his name even more well-known in the Korean entertainment industry.
