The production team of the Korean drama “ Positively Yours ” has finally spoken out regarding South Korean actor Yun Ji On’s withdrawal from the project they are currently working on.
In an official statement, the production team of the Korean drama "Positively Yours" explained that they would be reshooting scenes previously starring Yun Ji On.
"We plan to reshoot scenes featuring Yun Ji On. We are currently searching for an actor to replace him in the role," a production representative said on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Yun Ji On was previously known to have been arrested on September 17, 2025 on charges of drunk driving. The incident resulted in Yun Ji On officially leaving the drama which had entered the production stage.
For the time being, the production team will focus on completing filming scenes that do not involve Lee Min Wook's character, the character played by Yun Ji On.
"Positively Yours" itself is a romantic Korean drama adapted from a popular webtoon with the same title. The story centers on the unexpected consequences of a one-night stand between two people who initially vowed not to marry.
The drama stars Choi Jin Hyuk as Kang Doo Joon and Oh Yeon Seo as Jang Hee Won. The Korean drama "Positively Yours" is scheduled to premiere in the first half of 2026, although cast changes are expected to impact the production process.
