Jang Geun Suk held an impromptu fan signing to celebrate reaching 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. Unfortunately, the event didn't go as planned. In a video uploaded to YouTube, Jang Geun Suk expressed his joy at reaching 100,000 subscribers.
To celebrate, he held an impromptu fan signing in Gangnam, Seoul. Unfortunately, heavy rain caused the actor's YouTube production team to worry that no fans would attend the event. However, the "Love Rain" actor responded positively.
"I like rain because it gives a romantic feel to the earth," he said in the video, as quoted by Koreaboo, on Sunday September 21, 2025. However, after the rain subsided, several fans entered the venue and lined up to get Jang Geun Suk's autograph.
This made the actor appear both relieved and enthusiastic. Shortly after, the fan signing event was deserted again, with no fans present. Realizing there would be no more fans, Jang Geun Suk said perhaps his fans were too embarrassed to enter the venue.
He then grabbed a megaphone and went outside the venue to promote the fan signing event. "We need to open our hearts first so they'll feel comfortable joining," he said. Unfortunately, the actor's efforts were in vain.
No new fans showed up to the fan signing event. He suspected this was due to the heavy rain in Seoul that day. Jang Geun Suk said, "If it weren't for the rain, I'm sure there would have been so many people that the line would have stretched all the way to the street.
Did I pick the wrong day? Let's delete this video and reshoot it later." Even though only seven people attended the fan signing, Jang Geun Suk still looked happy . He even thanked the fans for their continued support.
"I will work hard not to disappoint you," the actor added. Jang Geun Suk is known to have met with and received support from his friends for his achievement. Among them are YouTuber Jenny Park, Kim Hyun Joong, and actress Oh Yoon Ah.
