Thieves reportedly broke into Kang Daniel's staff vehicle and made off with several suitcases containing stage costumes, make-up and hairdressing equipment, and official merchandise.
Due to this theft, the idol's staff reportedly had to purchase new costumes and equipment at a nearby shopping mall so that Kang Daniel could continue performing on stage. Despite facing an unpleasant situation, Kang Daniel maintained his professionalism.
In a post on his personal Instagram Story, he expressed his enthusiasm for giving his fans the best performance possible. "All our belongings were stolen. They took everything, costumes, makeup and hair tools, even merchandise, but we still had a great concert.
I'm fine," Kang Daniel wrote in the post, quoted Wednesday (September 24). Meanwhile, Kang Daniel's agency, Aira, also confirmed the incident. They stated that the theft was shocking, but that emergency preparations by staff and artists on site ensured the concert went smoothly.
"It was indeed a very surprising incident, but thanks to the emergency preparations made by the staff and artists on site, the concert was finally able to go smoothly despite the obstacles," Aira told Maeil Kyungje Star Today.
Despite experiencing the theft, there was no confirmation from the agency or Kang Daniel that this incident was currently under police investigation. This incident was not the first obstacle that Kang Daniel experienced during his concert tour entitled ACT: NEW EPISODE in the United States.
Previously, a concert scheduled for September 6, 2025, in New Jersey was canceled two hours before the event was scheduled to begin due to operational system issues from the local authorities, who deemed it incapable of guaranteeing the safety and quality of the stage.
