South Korean actress Kim You Jung was caught on camera with Kim Do Hoon. The photo circulated on online forums with the narrative that they vacationed together in Vietnam last May 2025. From there, rumors of a relationship began to emerge.
Netizens discussed their time together and speculated about a romantic relationship between the stars of the Korean drama "Dear X." Not long after, Kim You Jung's management spoke out. In a statement, Awesome ENT explained that the rumors circulating online were untrue.
"I've checked with Kim You Jung, she's not dating Kim Do Hoon," said the agency. Regarding the circulating photo, which was claimed to be proof of a vacation together, the agency has an explanation. It's true the photo was taken during a trip to Nha Trang, Vietnam.
However, they weren't alone on that trip. Kim You Jung and Kim Do Hoon went on vacation with the crew and staff of the Korean drama Dear X after filming wrapped. However, circulating photos suggest that only the two of them were there.
"Director Lee Eung Bok, Kim You Jung, Kim Do Hoon, and all the staff who were able to come and go together. They are not dating," the agency emphasized again. Kim Do Hoon's management, PEAK J Entertainment, issued a similar statement.
They denied the rumors and claimed that the widely discussed photos were taken during a group vacation, not just the two of them. Kim You Jung and Kim Do Hoon along with Kim Young Dae will appear in a Korean drama entitled Dear X. This Korean drama is planned to air on November 6, 2025.
