Saram Entertainment has been accused of exploiting Lee Soo Hyuk after the S-Line actor held a 12-hour fan meeting in Hangzhou, China. He was required to sign autographs for thousands of fans at the meeting, held on August 30, 2025.
Taiwanese media outlet EBC criticized the agency for holding the fan meeting in an unsuitable venue. Poor air conditioning caused the actor to sweat profusely and appear dehydrated. The news angered fans, who demanded that Saram Entertainment protect its artist.
They also demanded that the agency address the actor's health and safety while working. until Saram Entertainment released an official statement on September 3, 2025. Interestingly, the agency did not deny the contents of EBC's news regarding the fan meeting's excessively long duration and the venue's unsuitable conditions.
In a press release, Saram stated that what happened at Lee Soo Hyuk's first fan meeting in Hangzhou was "unexpected" considering the high level of fan enthusiasm. Furthermore, it was the actor's first fan meeting in 10 years.
"We deeply regret this situation and promise to continue improving ourselves going forward. We also want to thank everyone who worked hard to make this fan meeting possible," said Saram Entertainment, as quoted by OSEN, on Thursday (September 4, 2025).
