Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee will appear on the upcoming episode of comedian Park Na Rae’s YouTube food talk show “Naraesik,” where they will share behind-the-scenes stories from JTBC’s new Friday drama My Youth.
The series, which premiered on Friday September 5, 2025, is a wistful romance about rediscovering one’s true self through a reunion with first love. Song plays Sun Woo Hae, a former child actor turned florist and novelist.
Chun stars as Sung Je Yeon, his first love and now a passionate manager. During the taping, Song admitted he felt instantly at ease with his co-star. “When I heard Woo Hee was joining, and as we prepared together, I thought, ‘This will really work well,’” he said.
“Even the staff often say our visuals match nicely, and hearing that makes me feel good.” True to the show’s format, Park cooked galbi jjim at Song’s request and yeonpotang (seafood hot pot) for Chun.
Both actors praised the flavors and dove into a lively mukbang segment. Song revealed he had just returned from several months abroad: “I didn’t eat Korean food for a while. I actually held off after arriving a week ago because I knew (your food) would taste amazing.”
The episode also sees the actors share personal stories, from school days when Song served as vice president of his school, to their own peak moments in life. Episode 51 of “Naraesik” featuring Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee drops September 10, 2025 at 6:30 PM KST.
