The production team of the Korean drama Confidence Queen revealed that Park Min Young was a strong candidate for the role. "During filming, we couldn't imagine anyone else but Park Min Young to play Yoon Yi Rang."

His character has a genius-level intelligence with an IQ of 165. Although he seems to do things impulsively, Park Min Young as Yoon Yi Rang, has made a mature and fresh plan with two actors who are part of his team, Park Hee Soon and Joo Jong Hyuk.

The Korean drama Confidence Queen is adapted from the Japanese series, Confidence Man JP (2018), which has three seasons and one additional film (2019). Unlike the Japanese version, Confidence Queen features a female lead character as a charismatic con artist.

Meanwhile, Joo Jong Hyuk plays Myung Gu Ho, the youngest member of his team who is fiercely honest and upholds justice. He initially refuses to delve into the world of fraud, but can't help but get swept up in the team's fast-paced operations.
