Actor Tom Holland, the lead actor in Spider-Man, reportedly suffered a minor injury while filming the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The incident reportedly occurred while he was performing a stunt at Leavesden Studios, Watford, England, on Friday September 19, 2025.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 29-year-old actor suffered a mild concussion after hitting his head while performing an action scene. Zendaya's fiancé was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no other crew or cast members were injured in the incident.
Despite being hospitalized, Holland was seen attending a charity dinner the following day with his father, Dominic Holland, and his fiancée Zendaya. However, he chose to leave the event early due to feeling unwell. Filming was temporarily halted on the day of the incident.
Holland himself will be resting for the next few days as a precautionary measure. Meanwhile, Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are scheduled to meet early next week to discuss the next steps regarding the film's production.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in July 2026 and will be Tom Holland's fourth film as Spider-Man, following Homecoming (2017), Far From Home (2019), and No Way Home (2021).
In addition to Zendaya and Jacob Batalon returning, the film also features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner aka Hulk, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, and Michael Mando as Scorpion. There are also new faces joining, such as Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), Tramell Tillman (Severance), and Sadie Sink from Stranger Things.
