Chinese singer and actor Yu Menglong, known as Alan Yu, died at the age of 37 after falling from a building in Beijing, in the Chaoyang district, between the night of Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and the early hours of Thursday, September 11, 2025. 

The death was confirmed this morning, in an official statement from his agency. Despite the investigation, local authorities ruled out foul play, classifying the case as an accident. According to reports, the artist had spent the previous night with friends, but around 2 a.m., he retired to a room to rest, locking the door. 

Hours later, his colleagues noticed his absence, and at 6 a.m., a resident walking his dog found the body and called the police. Alan Yu was born on June 15, 1988, in Urumqi, Xinjiang Province. His career began in music, with appearances on talent shows such as "My Show" and "Happy Boys." 

He only made his acting debut in 2014, in the television drama "The Loving Home," and the following year, he rose to prominence playing the ninth prince in the historical drama "Go Princess Go." In 2017, he starred in "Eternal Love," a fantasy c-drama that achieved worldwide acclaim and introduced him to new audiences outside of China. 

The actor has also starred in productions such as "Xin Bai Niang Zi Chuan Qi" and "Love Game in Eastern Fantasy," as well as other television projects such as "Who's not Rebellious Youth," " Unstoppable Youth ," "The Love Lasts Two Minds," and "The Moon Brightens for You," among others.

In Chinese cinema and television, Alan Yu has become a household name, accumulating work that has led him to win awards such as 'Breakthrough Actor' at the Golden Bud Network Film and Television Festival in 2019. His most recent work was a role in the c-drama, 'Feud', released in June this year.
